Great Italian food in a neighborhood restaurant. Interior is simple but elegant. The restaurant is a casual sit down place. Small wine list. Great warm bread is served when you sit down. I recommend the Greek salad. We also enjoyed the Penne Ala Vodka and the eggplant Parmesan.

This past weekend was my first time at this restaurant. Our server was Katelyn, and she was very nice and knowledgeable. We ordered the garlic cheese bread and asked for the garlic olive oil dip. Both were delicious! I think im obsessed with the dip. Such a good balance of italian herbs, parmeasan cheese, and garlic. It was a tad heavier on the garlic, but we didnt mind since I love garlic. The bread does come with a marinara dipping sauce which was also tasteful. The cheese bread was also tasty with the blend of cheeses and garlic. I probably could have eaten all of it. I ordered the special of crab and shrimp fettuccine with vodka sauce. The pasta was cooked just right, the sauce shrimp and crab were flavorful and silky. Everything came together just right. My partner ordered the chicken parmeasan but asked for the marinara on the side and asked for Alfredo sauce. The chicken was nice and crispy, the spaghetti was cooked perfectly with slightly thinner noodles. Both sauces were good, the Alfredo was really tasty with lots of flavor and was so creamy. We had an amazing experience at Bella Italia Ristorante today. From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect. Our waitress (Kara’s mom—so sorry I couldn’t keep her name in mind!) was incredible. She recommended today’s special and it did not disappoint at all. Truly one of the highlights of our meal. We also got to see Kara, another wonderful waitress, who wasn’t even on shift yet but still took the time to come over, smile, and greet our family. That kind of warmth says everything about this place. The food was outstanding across the board. My daughters loved the chicken Alfredo, the caprese salad is always a 100/10, and the fresh bread was delicious. For dessert, the limoncello cake was absolutely wow—I could honestly eat it over and over again. My kids enjoyed the chocolate mousse cake, and my husband loved his cheesecake. Everything tasted fresh, homemade, and full of flavor. Beyond the food, what really makes this restaurant special is how welcome they make you feel. The service and atmosphere are consistently amazing, and that’s what keeps us coming back every time we’re in the Dallas area. We will definitely be returning many more times.

Had a wonderful experience at Bella Italia Plano. The food was delicious, the ambiance was warm and inviting, and the service was good from start to finish. Every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. A perfect spot for a family dinner or a relaxing evening out. Looking forward to visiting again soon!

5/9/2026 - We visited Bella Italia Ristorante for a Mother's day lunch. My wife, Mother in law, Wifes Aunt, and myself found the quaint little restaurant in Plano. We were seated within a few minutes of entering the restaurant. The restaurant itself wasn't too crowded. The waitress Sara, informed us she was by herself on the floor and to please forgive her for any order delays. She then brought us our beverages and the House Garlic Bread. After a few minutes Sara returned and took our orders. My wife's Aunt ordered the Eggplant Parmesan, I ordered the Stromboli and Calamari for the table, my Wife and Mother in Law shared a Ceaser Salad and Meatballs. Everything was delicious. For dessert we ordered a slice of Lemon Cake and Tiramisu. Both desserts were yummy!! All in all, Bella Italia Restorante is a great place gor Italian cuisine. The prices are fair, Sara was Awesome, and the atmosphere was peaceful. I highly recommend and will definitely be back. Sara you Rocked!!
